Bathroom Installation Course from Able Skills

Plumbing course Plumbing course

Have you considered a career in Bathroom Installation but instead of being just the Plumber, you can also be the Plasterer and the Tiler and offer a complete one man service to your customers?

At Able Skills we have devised a training package for those of you who may be considering a career in Bathroom installation but who want to be able to provide a fuller service which will save your customers both time and money.

The Bathroom Installation training we have put together will take just 3 weeks and will cover plumbing, wall and floor tiling and plastering.  These skills combined will ensure that you have the confidence and ability to deliver a complete bathroom installation service.

All of our training at Able Skills is entirely hands on and all of our courses run every week within their own training centres. This ensures that you can undertake these 3 weeks of training in any order, at any time throughout the year as we are open 7 days every week and this also means that you can incorporate weekend training if you choose. All of Able Skills instructors are trade experienced as well as being qualified as instructors so the level of training you will receive from us is second to none.

As you come to finish your training, you will have the option to spend an extra week with us and put your skills to the test. In doing so, you will be required to remove and replace an entire bathroom suite, remove tiles and prepare surfaces to receive your new tiles.
You will be required to calculate all of the relevant materials required to provide this complete bathroom installation service.

This is a very challenging week but well worth the opportunity to put your skills to the test in a simulated environment where you can see just how good a Bathroom Installer you are!

The Final Test?

If you have the time available to you then you can consider whether or not you are ready to put all of your new skills to the test and where better to test yourself than at our training centre and in our bathrooms!

A final week will see you completely rip out a bathroom suite and remove all existing tiles to provide you with a blank canvass to start again. You can then prepare your surfaces by plastering and repairing any damage you may have caused to the walls, install your complete bathroom suite and tile and grout the walls and floors to complete the installation. This will be your last chance to perfect your skills before moving on to paying customers and it is also a great opportunity to tie together everything that you will have learned. Anything you are unsure of or you may have forgotten can be put right during this final week and this will add to your new found confidence.
