    City & Guilds 6217-02 Certificate and Training to NVQ Level 2

    This is a fantastic course which reflects what Carpenters really need to do once working on site. We have combined a C&G Carpentry qualification with NVQ reality training where larger projects are undertaken and completed giving you a real insight into the kind of work you can expect to be undertaking. NVQ registration will produce the right CSCS card to gain you access to any site as a Carpenter. Weekend training is also available to complete this course.

  3. 6 Week Professional Joinery Course

    City & Guilds 6217-05 Certificate

    If you would like to master the finer points within carpentry, this course will exceed your expectations. All manner of joints are covered and you will learn to construct and assemble these joints, using precision measuring and cutting to create a finished product. Weekend training is also available to complete this course.

  4. 10 Week Professional Carpentry & Joinery Course

    We have combined the 2 C&Gs Carpentry & Joinery courses to enable you to achieve both skill sets in a dedicated period of time. With both of these training courses under your belt we feel sure that any carpentry job you complete will be to a fantastic standard with the right finish. This entire course can be completed at weekends too.

  5. 10 Week Professional NVQ Carpentry Course

    City & Guilds 6217-02/05 Certificate and Training to NVQ Level 3

    Are you looking to have training and assessment which will eventually confirm your status as a level 3 Carpenter? If so, look no further! This comprehensive, detailed period of training will teach you everything that is expected of a level 3 Carpenter. A fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of carpentry and everything that goes with it.

  6. 12 Week Professional NVQ Carpentry & Joinery Course

    City & Guilds 6217-02/05 Certificate and Training to NVQ Level 2

    Carpentry and Joinery qualifications will be achieved in the first 10 weeks with the remaining period being dedicated to reality training giving you a healthy insight into the kind of work you will be undertaking once working within the carpentry industry – this will also give you a very good idea of what work you should be taking on to achieve a carpentry level 2 NVQ . You will be able to apply for a CSCS Experienced Worker card. This course can all be achieved at weekends if that is your preference.

  7. 8 Week Professional Carpentry Diploma

    City & Guilds 6218-04 Diploma

    This is a relatively new Carpentry Diploma which is accredited by City & Guilds and achievement is based on credits that you complete to fall in line with the new Qualification Credit Framework. This course will provide training and assessment on 14 units which introduce, develop and expand your knowledge of carpentry, joinery and cabinet making. This is a great introduction for those of you looking to qualify as Carpenters and the entire process is also available using weekend training.

  8. 10 Week Professional NVQ Carpentry Diploma

    City & Guilds 6218-04 Diploma and Training to NVQ Level 2

    This is a relatively new Carpentry Diploma which is accredited by City & Guilds and achievement is based on credits. This course will provide training and assessment on 14 units which introduce, develop and expand your knowledge of carpentry, joinery and cabinet making before moving on and concentrating on real site carpentry and the kind of work that you will be undertaking once working in the industry. NVQ registration will produce the right CSCS card to gain you access to any site as a Carpenter. Weekend training is also available to complete this course.

  9. Experienced Carpenters who need NVQ

    EWPA – A quick route to NVQ for Time-Served Carpenters

    If you are an experienced, time served Carpenter but have no qualifications to confirm this, this quick route to NVQ level 2 maybe the answer you are looking for. No site assessments are required, just a profiling session here at Able Skills and a practical test to confirm your competence. This will help you with getting the right CSCS card.
