Gas and Renewable Technologies Training - Bradford

Able Skills has been working in partnership with Vokèra for almost a year now; we have been fortunate enough to be invited to attend PHEX shows on a shared exhibition stand with Vokèra and will also be present with them this year at ‘Installer Live' in Birmingham in October.

We have spent time getting to know Vokèra by visiting their various sites in the UK to see firsthand what they do and how they work and they have also invested time in visiting Able Skills on a number of occasions as well as supplying us with a range of appliances to enhance our already popular training courses.

Moving forward

From a first chance meeting with Marketing Director Eleanor Fox, the partnership with Vokèra has now evolved and is already moving forward so that Vokèra, with the help of Able Skills, can extend their current set of training courses to include:

• Gas training for new entrants to the industry
• ACS assessments - CCN1 / CENWAT / CKR / HTR / CPA
• Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems courses
• Heat Pump courses

The next step of our partnership with Vokèra launches in Bradford on 09th January 2012.

This is a very exciting time for Able Skills as we branch out to the North of England following 10 years of successful training delivery in the South. We are looking forward to bringing quality training and value for money to Bradford and believe that the training centre will be of value to both Able Skills and Vokèra.

All trainees at both the Bradford and Dartford training sites will have access to train on Vokèra equipment and could also have the opportunity to join Vokèras list of approved Installers at a future stage in their career.

Able Skills has been working for sometime on the best possible way to deliver our courses in association with Vokèra and recently we opened an additional Gas training centre in Dartford, Kent which is fully equipped with a range of Vokèra boilers; we also have Vokèra Heat Pumps within our Renewable Technologies Training Centre in Dartford.

Both of these training centres have proved to be very successful and are full with students looking to up-skill or re-skill so we are confident that we can replicate this success in Bradford, just on a slightly smaller scale.
