MP for Dartford Gareth Johnson is set to visit Able Skills' cutting-edge training facilities next month.
On November 11th, Mr Johnson will be given a tour of the renewable energy centre and new electrical centre while Able Skills instructors will be on hand to give technical information and provide equipment demonstrations.
The renewable energy centre is completely dedicated to delivering advanced training in solar thermal, solar PV, heat pumps, rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling and under floor heating design and installation.
Able Skills' newest electrical centre will provide the City & Guilds 2357 qualification which is set to be the only route into the industry since the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 and 3 reached the end of its registration period.
The City & Guilds 2357 course is also available in the evenings as Able Skills is committed to training those who are unable to attend electrical courses during typical work hours.
All other electrical qualification courses are on offer for those wishing to become domestic installers and fully trained electricians including 17th edition courses, Part P courses and PAT testing courses.
Gary Measures, Able Skills director, said: "We are very much looking forward to the visit of Mr Johnson and hope he will be impressed by the standard of training on offer.
"Able Skills provide every recognised electrical qualification and are dedicated to training the next generation of renewable energy engineers."
Mr Johnson is the latest dignitary to visit Able Skills and the local politician follows in the footsteps of the Mayor of Dartford Pat Coleman who officially opened the renewable technology centre last year.
