Part 'P' Qualification Level 3 from Able Skills
Welcome to Able Skills Part P training page, suitable for the more experienced domestic installer
If you are a time served Domestic Electrician and are looking for a fast track route to Part P registration then this training course option may be the answer you have been looking for.
In just 1 day we are able to bring you up to date with relevant building regulations and prepare you for a multiple choice exam.
The primary aim of this knowledge based Level 3 qualification is to enable practising electricians, operating in the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all relevant Building Regulations.
It will also be suitable for those working in the building trades and others who require a working knowledge of how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction.
Part P training does not mean that candidates will be able to self certify their installations instantly. You will need to register with and be accepted on to a Part P scheme by one of the scheme providers such as ELECSA, NAPIT, NICEIC etc.
A City & Guilds Certificate in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations will be awarded to those candidates who successfully complete a 45-minute multiple-choice examination.
Entry Requirements:
It is recommended that any candidate considering this Part P course has a considerable amount of experience within the domestic sector or holds C&G 2360 Part 1 or C&G 2330 level 2 or equivalent
Course duration: 1 Day
Course cost: £150.00
