  1. 17th Edition Course

    City & Guilds 2382

    This 3 day electrical training course will enable you to gain familiarity with the layout, content and application of BS7671: June 2008 (2011) 17th Edition Regulations. This Certificate ensures you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. This course is entirely theory based and is completed by way of an online multiple choice open book exam.

  2. Inspection & Testing of New Installations

    City & Guilds 2394 - Level 3 Inspection & Testing - Initial Verification

    This new (2012) City & Guilds qualification is aimed at practicing electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training. The qualification will replace an element which is currently part of the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing and will prepare you for the initial verification of electrical installation work. A written exam, an online test and a practical assessment will need to be passed in order to successfully achieve this certificate.

  3. Inspection & Testing of Existing Installations

    City & Guilds 2395 - Level 3 Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

    This new (2012) City & Guilds qualification is aimed at experienced electricians who wish to gain further knowledge and skills in the inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations and practicing electricians who need refresher training. It replaces an element which is currently part of the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing and will prepare candidates for the periodic inspection of electrical installation work. It is not aimed at people with limited electrical qualifications or limited experience of inspection and testing. A written exam, an online test and a practical assessment will need to be passed in order to successfully achieve this certificate.

  4. Inspection & Testing of New and Existing Installations

    City & Guilds 2394/2395 - Combined Inspection & Testing

    If you feel confident in your skills and able to combine the training and assessments to achieve these two qualifications in 5 days then this is the perfect opportunity for you.   5. PAT Testing Course

    City & Guilds 2377-22

    This 2 day course will teach you how to test portable electrical appliances with the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. If you already work as an electrician it will add another string to your bow and can help you move up in the industry however you do not need to be a qualified electrician to do this course but it is recommended that you have some electrical knowledge.

  6. PAT Testing – Combined Course

    City & Guilds 2377-22 / City & Guilds 2377-32

    This combined 2 day course will provide you with 2 City & Guilds PAT Testing qualifications: Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment and Management Requirements for the Maintenance of Electrical Equipment.

  7. PAT Testing for Non Electricians

    Training for City & Guilds 2377-22 / City & Guilds 2377-32

    If you have an interest in undertaking PAT testing work BUT you do not have an electrical background at all then we would recommend that you consider this 3 day course. We will be aiming to bring your electrical knowledge up to a standard that will enable you to grasp the content of these qualifications better.

    City & Guilds 2392 - Level 2 Fundamental Inspection & Testing

    This qualification has been developed to provide less experienced candidates with an introduction and the necessary skills and confidence to inspect and test fundamental installations and conduct initial verification - a qualification that proves your ability.

    This 1 day practical inspection and testing course is an ideal opportunity for those of you who are getting ready to sit for your C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing practical examination or even as a refresher for those of you who have achieved this qualification already but have not had reason to practice your skills in recent times.

  10. Design and Verification of Electrical Installations

    City & Guilds 2396 - Level 4 Award in Design of Electrical Installations

    This qualification helps to develop the essential, up-to-date knowledge and techniques needed to professionally design and install or inspect and test electrical systems. Recommended for qualified/experienced electricians, this level 4 qualification will leave no doubt as to your abilities in all areas of electrical inspecting and testing.
