Multi Course For Part P from Able Skills
- 2 DAY INTRODUCTORY TO ELECTRICS COURSE
- VRQ
- CITY & GUILDS 2382
Able Skills has devised this package for those of you who have some previous experience within the domestic installation sector and who are looking to register onto a Part P scheme as soon as possible, with all of the requirements obtained.
At the end of the courses students will have a sufficient level of competence, so that once registered with a relevant body, they will be able to work safely, efficiently and legally on electrical equipment having obtained the required electrical qualifications.
Following the changes in the building regulations, most electrical work in houses must be notified to the local authority building control by law. The exception to this is where the work is undertaken by a competent person who is a member of a Governing body and is registered onto a Part P Scheme. The scheme requires that you can prove competency, and upon registering onto a scheme, you will be assessed by the governing body you choose. To register onto a Part P scheme you are required to have knowledge of domestic installation and a relevant qualification which determines that you are competent and able to safely work on electrical equipment in the home.
In order to reach your full potential and fully meet the requirements of the Part P scheme, practical abilities will be required to be updated and an understanding of terminology and basic electrical theory is essential. We can provide the required electrical training to bring you up to date with all practical tasks and prepare you to complete the Assessments and exams during the VRQ level 2 – qualification for Domestic Installers and City & Guilds 2382.
All 3 of our Electrical Instructors carry a vast array of electrical knowledge having spent years within the industry, domestic, commercial and industrial. They are fully conversant with Part P requirements and will guide you, with their knowledge and teaching skills, to competence in your practical abilities and building regulations knowledge in order for you to pass the exams required.
Able Skills provides this training to everyone and we are regularly used by various companies in order to bring their employees up to date with the required qualifications to meet industry requirements.
Our pass rate for both the VRQ and City & Guilds 2382 are exemplary and we are committed to continuing with the excellent training we provide but at the same time, we are still looking to offer more and stay up to date with all proposed changes within the electrical industry.
