Which Electrician Training is right for you?
Electrician training can be very daunting and if you look to gain the right qualifications at college, all in all, you could be studying for 4 – 5 years.
If you do not have that kind of time available to you, we at Able Skills are able to provide you with fast track Electrician training.
Electrician Training at Able Skills
Able Skills has a designated state of the art Electrical Training Centre. We have practical training areas for all aspects of Electrician Training; we have designated classrooms as well as an independent computer suite to ensure that all exams are undertaken in the correct manner.
We provide full time instructor lead courses in every aspect of Electrician Training we have available.
We have 3 highly qualified instructors, all of whom have years of experience in delivering Electrician Training courses and who are able to guide you through your training from the very basics to the most complex Electrician Training course we have.
To become a fully qualified Electrician there are many Electrician training courses to undertake, your starting point being City & Guilds 2330 at level 2; Able Skills provides this training in a 10 week period.
This will be suited to providing you with a start in the industry but ultimately, you should look to undertake Electrician training in level 3 qualifications to obtain City & Guilds 2382: 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds 2391: Inspection and Testing and eventually, City & Guilds 2330 level 3. Once you are working within the industry, you can look to achieve City & Guilds 2356: NVQ levels 2 and 3.
Electrician Training for Part P
Electrician training is also available to those of you who do not have too much time available to you but who are keen to have some involvement in the electrical industry to become Part P domestic installers.
We offer domestic installer training by way of short practical courses, domestic installer qualifications: VRQ Level 2, as well as City & Guilds 2382: 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Electrician training for this comes in a variety of training packages from Able Skills. We have devised packages to cater for everyone’s level and finances.
