Gas Courses Available at Able Skills
New Entrant Gas Training (Full Time)
This 3 week course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work under supervision on gas appliances. This training will provide you with the mandatory training certificate required to move forward to gaining formal gas qualifications.
New Entrant Gas Training (Weekends)
This series of weekend training courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work under supervision on gas appliances. This training will provide you with the mandatory training certificate required to move forward to gaining formal gas qualifications.
Gas Re-Assessment
This assessment process is for those of you who have worked or are working within the gas industry and whose qualifications have expired or are coming up for their renewal. We offer CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1, DAH1, HTR1 and the now mandatory CPA1.
Gas Initial Assessment
If you have completed your on the job evidence gathering or hold 6128/6129 NVQ at level 3 (or similar), this is your opportunity to gain formal gas qualifications including your Core Gas Safety and Appliances which will enable you to move forward and register on to the Gas Safe Register.
Commercial Gas Training
Able Skills is an approved CITB Commercial Gas Training and Gas Assessment Centre.
Following the success of our Domestic Gas Training courses, Able Skills has now invested in a new training centre for those of you looking to move into Commercial gas.
