The UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC) has announced that it is to run a series of workshops aimed at discussing ways of making buildings carbon neutral, which could interest workers with approved plumbing qualifications.
Workers who want to learn more about the changes they could implement to reduce the carbon emissions of non-domestic buildings will have a chance to take part in "hands on" interactive sessions.
The free workshops are to be sponsored by the Department of Communities and Local Government as part of its consultation on carbon zero structures of this kind and will provide the department with appropriate feedback.
According to the UK-GBC, the courses will run from January 27th to February 9th in London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham.
The department outlined it its consultation document some of he changes that it hopes to make.
"As with homes, we want to set energy efficiency standards for non-domestic buildings that are at the highest practicable level," it said.
