Able Skills City & Guilds Plumbing NVQ Courses (6089) Qualification

In order to qualify and register for this NVQ, the following criteria must be met:

• You must work within a 60 mile radius of Dartford – Postcode: DA1.
• You must have achieved in full, City & Guilds 6129, less than 3 years ago and have evidence of this.
• You must be working for a plumbing company.
• You must have a work based Recorder (Supervisor/Foreman) who is qualified to Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ or has a minimum of 5 years experience, he/she must have evidence or verification of this.

If you find yourself within the category as listed above, you will be able to enrol with Able Skills to commence your plumbing NVQ.

This will involve a half day induction with our Plumbing Assessor and he will provide you with the materials required to get you started.

You will be required to pay a registration fee of £200 and then as you progress, each onsite assessment will be at a cost of £195.00 per visit, there are 6 in total covering:

• Maintain the Safe Working Environment when Undertaking Work Activities.
• Maintain Effective Plumbing Working Relationships.
• Contribute to the Improvement of the P Work Environment.
• Install Non-complex Plumbing Systems and Components.
• Decommission Non-complex Plumbing Systems Portfolio.
• Maintain Non-complex Plumbing Systems and Components.

There is a requirement for the assessments to be onsite but not all at the same site.

If you do not have any Plumbing qualifications and would like to obtain the industry required entry level qualification, we provide training for the City & Guilds Plumbing Technical Certificate (6129). We can provide full details on this upon request. Upon achieving the City & Guilds 6129, you can then move forward to NVQ qualification.
