Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems has for many years been known as Unvented or G3 certification however the new Approved Document to Part G of the Building Regulations now applies to ALL domestic hot water storage systems. This course is for installers who wish to install Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems and join a Competent Persons’ Scheme which will allow the self-certification of installations.

1 Day Course

Kingspan in association with Able Skills, has devised a 1 day course to train existing Dry-Liners/Plasterers on their Internal Wall Insulation system to help individuals access new Government (Green Deal) and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding schemes

This course is for practicing installers and will provide you with the skills and knowledge to select the most appropriate heat pump for a building and to install any of the common types of ground source or air source heat pumps in a safe manner. It also provides training in the maintenance and servicing of heat pumps.

This BPEC accredited Underfloor Heating (Installer) course is predominantly suited to Heating and Plumbing Engineers, HVAC contractors and Heat pump/solar installers and covers the principles, technology, materials and components used in Underfloor Heating systems and also explains and demonstrates how to install, commission, service and maintain the systems.

This course is suited to anyone at all who would like to have a decent understanding of the various Renewable Technologies that are currently available and emerging. This is a certificated course and is ideal for those of you whose job has some kind of connection with environmental technologies: Plumbers merchants Sales Reps and counter staff, builders, plumbers and so on….

This course is aimed at individuals who wish to carry out work with a local water company. Successful candidates are encouraged to join WIAPS, which will let them carry out work without having to be approved by their local water company. Upon completion of work, the Approved Plumber will issue a certificate for work completion to both the owner/occupier and the water company.
