City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 with C&G 2382-2377-2393

City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 (8 Weeks) with C&G 2382-2377-2393

Next Start Date: 08th August 2011 is now full and the next available start date is 24th October 2011 for 8 Consecutive Weeks

You may have heard about changes being proposed for City & Guilds training and also wondering how this might affect construction trade qualifications, especially if you are thinking of beginning your training with Able Skills on the City & Guilds 2330 - Technical Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology.

The new qualifications will replace the current ‘technical certificates' and NVQs at levels 2 and 3 for the Electrical industry but not until July 2012 which means that the current route of the C&G 2330 technical certificates remain valid qualifications and an acceptable route into the electrical industry.

So therefore, 2011 sees the introduction of 2 routes into the Electrical industry. The newly accredited C&G 2357 NVQ Diploma and separately, the already established C&G 2330 at both levels 2 and 3.

Able Skills has put together a variety of training packages to suit every individuals needs. If you are seeking the right qualifications to get you up and running in the Electrical Industry then this package of 4 qualifications is a great place to start.

We are an approved training provider with accreditations from various Governing Bodies and one of the only Centres in the UK where all of the training, assessments and exams are actually done at our site.

This particular training option will provide you with the skills and qualifications to undertake Electrical work domestically, commercially and industrially, allowing you access to all Electrical sectors.

This complete training package will provide the successful candidate with 3 City & Guilds Electrical qualifications and the required qualification for Part P registration.

The structure for this package will comprise of:

1. City & Guilds 2330 (Electro Technical Certificate) Level 2
2. City & Guilds 2382 (17th Edition Wiring Regulations)
3. City & Guilds 2377 (Portable Appliance Testing) and
4. City & Guilds 2393 for Domestic Installers.

8 weeks of intensive electrical training on a full time basis will see you achieve City & Guilds 2330 at Level 2, which currently takes 2 years on a part time basis in any college. This intensive course will enable you to gain this electrical qualification in a shorter period of time.

Once you have completed the City & Guilds 2330 you will be eligible for a C&G 2393 which will enable you to register onto a part P scheme in order to carry out and certify your own domestic installations. As you progress into the latter stages of your course you will qualify for City & Guilds 2382 training and exam and also 2377.

This package is available at a set price with designated start dates for the City & Guilds 2330 aspect but the training times for 2382 / 2377 / 2393 are flexible and can be arranged at different times to suit the individual, or we can arrange designated training times for the group as a whole.

I took the 5 day introduction to electrics with Able Skills. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole week, it was very informative and taught in the simplest way possible to gain a good understanding very quickly. The course Tutor was quick to inform us “there’s no such thing as a stupid question” and was happy to answer anything and everything we threw at him! Great value for money and I would definitely recommend
