The British construction sector is set to receive a £17.8m investment to help in the retention of skilled workers through construction courses and help the industry face the skills challenges of the future!

The Construction Industry Training Board is providing a huge amount of funding to construction firms across the country! This is in an effort to bridge the skills gap and increase the number of skilled workers in the industry. This is a huge move by the construction board and will greatly improve the efficiency of the construction industry overall! Construction firms should consider getting their workers to take courses here at Able Skills. The advantage of choosing Able Skills is that we have all trades on one location. We have experienced instructors that have been working out in the industry for years.

There is a huge lack of skilled workers across the board in the UK, but there is a massive demand for construction work. Especially in housing, with the growing population there is a high rate of housing schemes, which is great for the country to be developing new residential housing, however the lack of qualified workers is slowing down the entire process! Construction training is a necessity to become a working professional, you may be working say as a bricklayer with no official qualification but eventually, you will need to take a course and prove your competency.
