One of the most vital aspects of being a self-employed professional is keeping track of your finances, or else you run the risk of getting caught out by HMRC. Luckily, 1tap makes this easy by allowing contractors to scan receipts and invoices as soon as they get them, allowing for a more accurate tax return at the end of each year.

Hootsuite:

To gain traction and get clients attention is impossible without social media these days, but it can be hard to stay consistent, upload regularly and continue to post, which is needed when competing on social platforms. That's where Hootsuite comes in, you can schedule posts in advance across different platforms. This allows you to be active on social media without cutting into your workdays.

It is almost impossible to compete with other self-employed traders without the reach of social media and an application like this helps you to manage how and when you are posting content online!

Maybe take one day a week to focus on what you want to post and then schedule it to be released throughout the following week...The app is available on Desktop, IOS and Andriod!

Evernote is another great essential! Forget about that notebook, pen and paper doesn't cut it...Evernote is the most comprehensive note-taking application out there and allows you to organise, file and collect an unlimited amount of notes, which makes day to day work a walk in the park.
