Construction projects like this are popping up all over the country and employing thousands of people, there is so much opportunity in this sector and this notion is supported by statistics! The industry as a whole accounts for approximately 3 million jobs, 10% of total UK employment! Construction output in the UK is more than £110 billion a year and contributes 7% of GDP.

Let's look at the statistics:

construction training These charts outline the overall construction output across the board in the UK.

The number of construction projects as seen in these charts is only on the increase, obviously, you can see after the financial recession the overall output of both public & private sector was down. However,  the last couple of years seem extremely positive for the industry and it is only forecast to continue to increase!
