Why have a construction week?

UK Construction Week brings together all stakeholders within the built environment across design, build and supply; promoting innovation, projects, learning and networking. People are going to be there to show off their company to the many industry professionals that will be attending. It's a great opportunity for start-up companies or new professionals to get their name and brand out there to get exposure and rustle up some consumers, partners and advice.

The whole centre will be cut into diffrent sections and will play host to a range of different things, from exhibitions halls to workshops. The careers centre will offer advice on attracting and retaining staff, as well as offering practical advice about your own career path in construction.

There's even a place to get a couple of drinks and experience the most immersive construction simulator there is with Coventry University. With the help of modern technology take the test and be submerged into a real-life disaster situation on a construction site. The use of a large screen and real-life scenarios using specially-trained actors, not only improve skills but help develop new ways of working designed to impact on your bottom line.

There is so much going on, get excited and get involved!
