Want to learn the trade?

Electrician training isn't easy, becoming a professional electrician will take hard work. However, here at Able Skills our instructors are experts in the trade and understand what our students need and how to do it. They have years of experience both teaching and working out on the tools. Our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical course is the ultimate starting point for any aspiring electrician. The training is 7-weeks in total and will involve a mix of both classroom-based theory learning and hands-on experience out in our workshops. Currently, we have spaces available starting from the 17th of May and 21st June!

Want to get started sooner? If you are eager to get started on this electric qualification then you can always get started with our Home-Study option. Our Home-Study Level 2 Electrical course allows you to get started right away. You will learn the theory side of the course through our 'Home-Study Pack' at home. This pack will in effect replace the instructor for the theory side - Later on once you have studied the back, tested yourself with the includes questions and feel confident that you have understood what has been provided you will book 4-weeks of practical training here at the centre and look to complete the relevant assessments. You will earn the exact same City & Guilds qualification through this option, the only real difference is the amount of time it will take to complete, we say at least 6-weeks with the 'Home-Study pack' before attending, however you can take as long as you please.
