These are very strange times, many trades people across the country have been back to providing their services for some time now, we are also back teaching Electrician courses. With millions of people still remaining at home due to the pandemic there are a lot of people looking to improve their homes in one way or another creating plenty of work for traders. This is hugely beneficial, as the restoration of confidence has been pivotal for the recovery of consumers and tradesmen and women. According to recent data, 16% of tradespeople agree that the threat of a second wave of COVID has influenced them to commence work on home improvements sooner rather than later. Meaning currently around 18% of electrician across the country are working 10 or more hours every day!

The role of an electrician isn't always this chaotic, the whole industry is still in catch up mode and projects delayed by the lockdown are taking priority. The role of an Electrician can be fantastic career for many with the advantage of being able to set-up your own business and work on a self-employed basis. However, in light of the amount of work, great earnings and advantages of this role there has been a skills shortage in the world of electrics for many years. If you are looking to gain the knowledge and skills needed to kick-start a new career in electrics, you are in the right place. We have been providing training courses for almost 20-years. We take pride in our ability to teach students right from the start with little to no experience and have them leave our centre fully prepared and feeling confident in their ability. The best starting point would be our 7-week City & Guilds Level 2 Electrician course. This course is designed to teach you to become an electrician from scratch and will lay the foundation of knowledge for you to then add to through experience and further training. The course is taught by our electrical instructors who are experts in their trade, with years of experience working out in the industry and time spent teaching here at our centre they understand how to convey the information to our students and will give you their personal insights on the industry and the lessons they learnt starting out.

Unfortunately we do not have any spaces on this course until the 17th of May next year. If this date suits you then contact us and we can secure your place on this course. However, if you would prefer to start learning as soon as possible then you always have the choice to take on our 'Home-Study option' our Home-Study Level 2 Electrical course is a great alternative method of achieving this qualification. This option starts, as the name suggests, at home. We will send you our 'Home-Study Pack' which includes all of the relevant theory as well as test questions. You will take your time to work through this pack studying everything provided. Once you feel confident that you have understood the information provided and tested yourself, you will contact us to book 20-days worth of practical experience here at the centre and time for the assessments.

We are happy to take you around the training workshops so that you can see for yourself the great work that we do here and generally give you a sense of what to expect from training with us! We are open 7-days-a-week all year round between 8:30am - 16:30pm. 

Live too far? If the distance to travel is a problem for you then you may be interested in our accomodation. We offer accomodation exclusively to our students for the reasonable price of just £20 per night! All 3 of our location are within a short walking distance of our centre and offer  your own fully furnished room with washing facilities and TV. There are several bathrooms/WCs as well as fully fitted kitchens and a dining areas to eat and/or meet your fellow students. - If you would like to secure accomodation for the duration of your Electrician courses or other training with us make sure to contact us with plenty of time before the start of your course as spaces are limited!
