UK Disneyland in Kent? Construction opportunity!

Pictures have been released today of the proposed 'UK Disneyland' The 535 acre site will be built on the Swanscombe Peninsula near Dartford, a very short distance from our training centre here at Able Skills - with construction starting in 2021. Bosses hope it will be ready to open in 2024. This is a great thing not only for Disney enthusiasts, tourists and locals but a great and viable opportunity for construction workers across the UK! The resort will eventually contain two parks, with the first opening in 2024 and the second expected in 2029!

Where?

That's right, right here in Kent! Forget Disneyland Paris - Swanscombe Peninsula near Dartford is the new home of family entertainment. Just a 15-minute drive from our training centre, the project is right on the Thames, slightly out the way of central London but also close enough that it will possibly become on of the biggest attractions in the UK!

Opportunity for construction workers?

This is a huge scale construction project and will need the help of many different trades and professions. Planning includes huge scale infrastructure to allow access to the park via road, river and rail, which will also need thousands of workers to complete, in fact, around 6,300 + construction roles will need to be filled. If you live locally to the construction site it's a no brainier that you should be researching a job on this site! It will be a guaranteed long-term contract that will give you job security and the satisfaction of bringing such a project to your community!
