Uncertain about your current line of work? Need a change of direction?
Recently we have been talking to a lot of people who are in need of a change of direction in their life. Due to the current climate and the struggle surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic a lot of people are finding themselves out of work or still in employment but feeling quite uncertain about their future. Here at our training centre, we can help you work towards a new walk of life by giving you valuable trade skills. For example, we have heard a lot from black cab drivers who are obviously being affected by many things including the pandemic looking to change careers and re-train. We had a group attend Plumbing courses previously and they have now teamed up and started their own business together! Let's take a look at some courses that can get you started towards new, exciting opportunities...

Uncertain about your current line of work? Consider a change of direction!
We understand that some employers letting people go will have a retaining budget to help their staff gain new skills. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable trade knowledge that will last a lifetime. We predict that in October when the job retention scheme ends there will be an awful lot of people seeking new roles and training so it's best to get booked with us sooner than later! We offer a full range of courses in all types of trades, however, at this current moment in time, we are only running Plumbing courses, Electrician Courses, Gas courses and Bricklaying courses with the rest of the construction courses planned to return starting the 3rd of August...
We have been providing valuable trade skills for many years! Whether you are interested in becoming an Electrician through or Electrician courses, a Plumber with Plumbing training, taking on Gas courses to become a Gas engineer or any of the other trades that we offer, we are here to help!
Thinking about Plumbing courses?
Once again, plumbing is a great opportunity. This is a trade that is always in demand and will never not be. Becoming a Plumber with us is simple due to our vast amount of experience and our expert instructors who know the trade inside and out. Our training courses for Plumbing are a real mix of both theory and practical experience giving you an overall sense of the trade. The best place to start would be our Level 2 Plumbing course - This is where you will gain the fundamental training to set you up to begin a successful and life-long career.
Thinking about electrician courses?
Learning to become an electrician can seem like a difficult task, however, our instructors understand how to convey the lessons they learnt out in the industry to our students in an easy and understandable manner. Over the period of 7-weeks, our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course will help you to progress from the basics to more advanced aspects of the trade, additionally, the course will also provide an understanding of the Health & Safety requirements governing electrical installation processes, and knowledge of the organisation and structure of the electrical industry.
Thinking about Gas courses?
Becoming a Gas Engineer isn't just a job, its a career with many different avenues to pursue. Our New Entrant Gas Training Package 2 is a great way to kick off a new career in the trade. This package of gas training, portfolio placement and ACS assessment. For New Entrants looking to access the gas industry, this is an obvious choice. Starting with 7-weeks of hands-on practical training and classroom-based theory classes. Next, work placement! Following the completion of this 7-week gas training, you will be deemed competent to undertake supervised gas work and so the next step towards Gas Safe registration will be to demonstrate your competence in the work-place and you do this by working alongside a Gas Safe Registered Engineer who acts as your on-site verifier, helping you to build a portfolio of evidence and prove your competence and safety working with Gas. Finally, you will complete an ACS assessment and be ready for Gas Safe Registration.
