Each and every week Able Skills hosts construction training for several different trades as you already know. We thought we would let you guys know of a few courses running this week just to keep you up to date with what's going on! So here they are...

The Level 3 Electrical Course

Now this course is a natural progression for those who have undergone their Level 2.

Here's what students will be looking at:

• 301 - Level 3 Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems, assessed by way of an online exam
• 302 - Level 3 Principles of Electrical Science, assessed by way of a 2 hour written exam and a short practical task
• 303 - Level 3 Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification, assessed by way of online exam and a practical assessment
• 304 - Level 3 Electrical Installations: Inspection, Testing and Commissioning, assessed by way of online exam, a practical assessment and a 2 hour written exam
• 305 - Level 3 Electrical Systems Design, assessed by a written design assignment and an online exam
• 308 - Level 3 Career awareness in building services engineering, assessed by a written assignment and a short answer exam.

Home Study Level 2 Electrical Course

What a great course this is and proving to be a massively popular option here at Able Skills. This City & Guilds accredited course allows students to pick and choose the weeks they wish to come in and undergo practical electrician training. A huge benefit of such course is that it allows students to keep their current role and get time off as and when they need. The 18th Edition Course continues to run on a full house as many electricians are desperate to work on electrical installations just in time for the new year. Gas Training Courses

New Entrant? We've got you covered! The 7 week course is still going on and will be finished just in time for Christmas. You may have even seen our live videos and read about our previous student stories of students on such course. Being BPEC approved, our Gas Training Courses are designed to put you on your way to becoming a Gas Safe Registered Engineer.

Plumbing Courses

This week sees the start to yet another Introduction To Plumbing Course as students look to gain an exclusive insight into the real world of plumbing. The 5 day course takes students through what they can expect on site as we teach them basic skills such as:

• Plumbing systems and fittings
• Soldering techniques
• Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
• Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
• Plumbing pipework

Carpentry Courses

Being the UK's leader in construction course training, our carpentry courses really live up to expectations. The City & Guilds Carpentry & Joinery Combined Course is well underway in it's 4th week as students set their eyes on becoming eligible for the Level 2 Diploma. Being shown both Carpentry and Joinery, students can expect 2 City & Guilds Certificates!
