Separately, if you are considering changing career or even if you already work as a Plumber but do not have any qualifications, we have City and Guilds accredited plumbing courses available at both levels 2 and 3.
All of the plumbing courses that are available here can be completed through the week, Monday to Friday or at the weekend as we are open 7 days every week.
If you want to attend a plumbing course and are just outside of London or around the other side of London from us and can’t face the traffic issues that this City has, we also have accommodation available on a room only basis at £20 per night.
Short Introductory and Advanced Plumbing Courses
These courses are ideal if you want to have enough knowledge to hand to deal with small issues that frequently arise in the home. Whether it’s dealing with a leaking tap or a toilet that won’t flush, these 5 day courses that we provide will definitely help you out and ultimately save you the bother (and money) involved in calling out a Plumber. Alternatively, the knowledge gained will help you understand the problem ahead of calling the Plumber which is very beneficial in helping you understand the work that he may feel you need doing.
So, if you want to be able to turn your hand to:
- jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- dealing with valves, taps, cisterns, cylinders
- plastic tube installation
- soil and waste pipes
- installing radiators
then you won’t be disappointed by what is taught on this introductory course.
If you get the feel for plumbing and want to expand your knoweldge of plumbing systems but still want to keep your skill level to tackling minor home plumbing problems, our Advance Plumbing course would be the next phase of your learning.
The Advanced option will provide you with additional skills relating to:
- Installing flow and return from the boiler
- fitting a 900 x 450 indirect cylinder
- fitting cold water storage cistern
- fitting motorised valves & pump
- installing flow and return to radiators
- converting from open vented heating system to a sealed heating system
Both of these courses are an excellent in learning basic domestic plumbing and could very well save you a fair bit of time and money at some stage in the future.
