I have been in the Air force for 22 years as an Engineer and have decided to resettle and spend some quality time at home now. When I am home, I enjoy DIY and believe Carpentry to be a good basis for having a good grounding of all trades and I find it relaxing to work with.I chose to train with Able Skills after searching on Google. When I spoke to the office, Angela, Centre Manager made the whole process of using my LCAS Resettlement allowance effortless. I did not even consider another training Centre as it was made all too easy at Able Skills, they were accommodating and helpful.I was able to use their accommodation which is reasonably priced and local to their Centre.Tim and Steve, my Tutors were brilliant. They went out of their way to tailor the courses to their students interest and develop their skills. The most challenging part of the training for me was making a staircase. I was extremely proud and amazed that I was able to create this. It was all due to the help and tips given along the way from the tutors that make it so much easier. I consider the training most definitely value for money and would certainly recommend the Carpentry and Joinery Course to others. My expectations were exceeded from day 1 of learning. If you are keen to learn you are pushed every day. Able Skills are very excellent providers of training.Kev Tame - March 2013
