City & Guilds are introducing new qualifications to replace what we know as the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 and Level 3 courses. These courses will then become the 2365 Level 2 and Level 3. Effectively the same qualifications, just updated. Although, there will be a change over later in the year, the 2330 Level 2 and 3 are still a valid qualification and those that undertake this course will not have to re-train under the new qualification scheme. The 2365 Level 2 and 3 is excellent as it allows both colleges and private providers to supply adult learners with a viable option for entry into the electrical industry without having the immediate pressure of achieving NVQ units which the current C&G 2357 places on them.2330 Level 2 and 3 qualifications are still very popular and are recognised in the industry. The 2356 NVQ option has also been extended to continue until the 31st December 2012.Those that are looking to achieve the AM2, Able Skills can cater to this as well.Able Skills are now offering a new route to become a domestic installer. This means that now instead of achieving the qualification in 10 days, we can now do this in 7 days and it will also be more cost effective. We have devised the package to contain all of the necessary qualifications to get you set up as a fully competent domestic installer with the added benefit of having the 2392 (Level 2 Inspection & Testing) Certificate. We offer all of our training over weekends to allow flexible dates for those with other commitments.
