“I couldn’t have asked for anymore from Able Skills during my Bricklaying course, they were fantastic, from everyone in the office to the instructor Simon. I was stuck in a deadend job and I wanted a change and after a conversation with a friend that had previously trained at Able Skills, I thought bricklaying was a great opportunity for me. My friend is now out there working and earning as a bricklayer. This motivated me to take on the course as I saw the chances for me to get employment as a bricklayer if I was successful with the course, which I was and I am so happy with how it has gone from start to finish. When I visited Able Skills they took me around the centre to give me a proper idea of how the course would be run.
However, I was worried initially about paying for the course until I discussed it with the office staff and they informed me that no payment needs to be paid upfront and that my course fee would be broken up over my weeks of training and it was really flexible with the payments every Monday morning which made the course much more affordable rather than paying a large sum upfront.
The standard of training from Simon was brilliant, he really knows his stuff and was able to pass his knowledge onto me during my course. I have a lot to thank Able Skills and Simon for as they have helped me change my career and I am now looking forward to starting my new job as a bricklayer on a local building site. I really would recommend these guys as they give you everything you need to start your career and happily answer any questions you have!”
