Electrical Courses and Electrician Training at Able Skills

This weekend saw another wave of students training towards their industry recognised qualifications in trades such as Electrical, Plumbing, Gas, Decorating, Tiling, Plastering, Bricklaying and Carpentry.

Today we'll speak on some of the reasons why students turn to our Weekend Training Courses as apposed to our full time courses. But before we speak about those, please just remember we offer weekend training for all of our trades and we welcome anyone interested in our courses to come down and take a look at our centre just to see what they're like in real life!

So let's start with reason one...

Work alongside your current role

A massive advantage of going with weekend training is that you can of course keep your current role during the week and train towards either a new career or gain further qualifications 2 days a week - Saturday and Sunday. This has proved to be a very popular option for students who already have work commitments during the week and can't afford to go down the full time route.

Better Work/ Life Balance

Training towards a new career can often be very time consuming for those who have families to look after as well as other various commitments. Some training courses out there may require you to study in the evenings after a full days work, which takes up time away from your evening commitments but the beauty of weekend training means you don't have to worry about them during the week.

Pay As You Train

Able Skills don't only provide flexible courses, but we offer flexible payment options too. This means for anyone on our weekend training courses, as well as our other full time courses, we allow students to pay their course fees on a weekly basis as apposed to paying the full amount up front.
