Able Skills are proud to announce that our new AM2 electrical centre will be opening for business this summer and we are equally as proud to announce that most of it has been designed, built and finished by Able Skills students. We have a variety of trades contributing to the opening of this AM2 Centre and all of them working under the supervision of an Able Skills Assessor. The Electrical work is being undertaken by various groups of Electrical students who have been on various different electrical courses at Able Skills. We have students who have completed C&G 2330 levels 2 and 3, students who have undertaken the newer qualification C&G 2357 but all of them have completed their 17th Edition and some are waiting results from C&G 2391 exams. All of these Electrical students are working under supervision of Able Skills Assessor Clive Baker and they are all using varying different aspects of these installations as evidence for the level 3 electrical NVQ - C&G 2356.This is a fantastic opportunity for these trainee Electricians to gain some real life experience within a commercial/industrial setting and also an excellent opportunity for Able Skills to see how the students have progressed and put into practice everything that they have learned here with us.We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the students who have worked hard on this Electrical Centre project and wish them the very best of luck for when they move on to their next big commercial/industrial installation.
