Able Skills is proud to announce the opening of our new Carpentry Centre. All the work that has been carried out in this new centre has been undertaken by Able Skills students.
We have been providing Carpentry courses for 10 years and with this added centre we are able to run more courses, more often. We offer a variety of courses, from short 5 day intensive carpentry courses right the way up to courses that will grant you with qualifications such as City & Guilds and NVQ's.We can also offer more bespoke courses such as Weekend DIY and Kitchen fitting, alongside 4, 6 and 8 week carpentry courses.All of our instructors are qualified NVQ assessors, enabling us to assess any of our students on site. We also offer the EWPA (Experience Workers Practical Assessment) for anyone who has a minimum of 5 years within their chosen industry and can provide sufficient evidence to fast track themselves to the NVQ Level 2.We will have three fulltime Carpentry instructors with our programmes, starting every week and also weekends. This gives the opportunity to those who have work commitments to complete carpentry courses over weekends.We offer a flexible payment system where you
