Able Skills is proud to announce that it is sponsoring local football team Metrogas FC by supporting three of its youth teams this 23/24 season.

Metrogas FC was founded in 1888 and runs a variety of teams including a vets team and a youth section.

The youth teams compete in the Kent Youth League, Kent Girls/Ladies Football League, Junior Premier League and Selkent Youth League.

Able Skills’ Director Gary and Centre Manager Angela chose to sponsor the team because of their love of the game. Gary is a Tottenham fan himself and Ange supports West Ham. It was through their old friend Kris Huckett that they found out about the opportunity to support Metrogas FC. Given that personal connection to the club and their shared love for the sport, sponsoring the teams was an obvious choice.

The teams that Able Skills is sponsoring for the 23/24 season are:

  • Metrogas FC U9 White
  • Metrogas FC U11 JPL
  • Metrogas FC U11 Lion

Club Secretary & Vice Chairman Kris Huckett said: “Massive thanks to Gary and Angie of Able Skills for sponsoring the boys this season supporting three of our sides at Metrogas FC.”

New look for Able Skills

The sponsorship was the perfect opportunity to showcase the new Able Skills logo.

This new look logo is part of a new branding identity which is slowly rolling out across the business, both in the training centre and online. The refreshed brand assets draw on the core design elements of the old logo updated for a more modern aesthetic and colour palette.
