electrical coursesAble Skills are delighted to announce that we will open a new Achievement Measurement (AM2) Test Centre at our facilities in Dartford, Kent on April 1st.

The centre has been designed to assess trainees on the Electrotechnical Occupational Competence knowledge unit of the City & Guilds 2357 Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment.

Able Skills have been approved by the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) to provide AM2 assessment, which puts us at a distinct advantage over other training providers who are unable to offer this service. The 2357-399 AM2 assessment unit enables individuals to demonstrate their competence in defined subject areas and is only for trainees who have been deemed ready to be assessed.Able Skills have an experienced team of registered AM2 Test examiners that are qualified to assess electrical trainees looking to demonstrate their competence and move onto the next stage of learning.Trainees that pass the AM2 Test will provide evidence for the Practical Performance Assessment(PPA) requirements specified in the Level 3 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).Successful AM2 candidates can also use their achievements to satisfy the requirements for grading and membership of the Joint Industry Board (JIB) or other similar quality control/industry recognised organisations.Able Skills encourage everyone that is interested in AM2 Assessment to come visit our new centre when it opens and if you would like to discuss your learning requirements, then feel free to call us on 01322 280 202.
