Able Skills are delighted to welcome a new addition to our team who will help us maintain our excellent standard of teaching.Ron Wilks has joined Able Skills as our newest internal verifier and brings with him a wealth of experience in construction training having worked as an external verifier for both City & Guilds and the Construction Awards Alliance.With a hands-on background in all aspects of construction such as bricklaying, plastering and carpentry, Ron is an expert in his field and we can rely on him to uphold our stringent quality standards so that we can continue to provide the best training courses.The acquisition of Ron is great news for Able Skills and we look forward to benefitting from his guidance and support and are confident that he is a massive asset to the team.Ron joins our other internal verifier Kevin MacDonald who also boasts extensive experience of working in the training industry having worked for City & Guilds as an external verifier as well.Kevin oversees the provision of all our electrical courses and his presence has enabled us to continue with NVQ level 3 assessing and he will take the lead in managing the changes brought about by the new QCF and City & Guilds 2357.With both Ron and Kevin on board, Able Skills trainees can rest assured that our standard of training and assessment is consistent with the excellence and innovation expected of a City & Guilds approved centre.Able Skills are pleased to say that we have more qualified staff than any other training provider in the UK and our employees have over 300 years combined service within the construction industry.
