We offer all types of training courses here at Able Skills, one of our most popular options is Plumbing courses! In the video above you can see students learning the basics of pipe-bending, soldering and generally how to correctly connect pipe-work together. We offer courses that focus on the fundamentals. Such as our Introduction to Plumbing course to our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course for those looking to start a career and NVQ's for those ready to begin working on-site!

Plumbing is a great skill to have. Whether you are simply learning to have better DIY knowledge or you are perusing a new career. There are plenty of opportunities and constant demand for skilled workers in the trade.

You may have your doubts, but this goal of working for yourself is achievable by anybody who has received the right training and gained the knowledge, hands-on skills and confidence that is willing to put the work in.

Our plumbing courses are very popular, however, we do have spaces currently available starting either on August 2nd or September 20th this year! To get involved take a look through our website you can book courses online, secure your place over the phone or simply visit our centre in person.
We even offer a Home-Study version of this course. Our Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course is a great option allowing you to achieve an industry-recognised qualification around and existing job and or prior arrangements. The course starts with you learning the theory side of the trade at home.
You'll be given one of our Home-Study packs as well as the relevant City & Guilds textbooks. Also included will be example questions allowing you to test yourself as you study.
Once you feel confident that you have absorbed everything, let's say after 6-weeks then you can book in the practical, hands-on side of the course which will be 4-weeks each chosen by you. You'll earn the same level of qualification and learn the exact same skills.
