Young Britons who are hoping to take an electrician or plumbing training course in the near future - or already have - could find that this year's Apprenticeship Week is extremely beneficial.

Taking place from February 1st to 5th, the week aims to celebrate the good work carried out by apprentices across the country and promote their value to a wider audience.

A number of events are set to be staged nationwide over these days, including forums, activities, competitions and workshops.

In addition, there will be an online toolkit made available to download, which is full of information, advice and guidance for those wanting to organise an event to promote apprenticeships.

People who have gained, or are in the process of gaining, their approved electrical or plumbing qualifications and want to get more hands-on experience might find the week useful in demonstrating the importance and benefits of such schemes.

Those hoping for a career in bricklaying, tiling and plastering may also profit from the campaign.
