Students at Able Skills come from all over the world, with students regularly coming over the channel from France and students from Ireland. However, we currently have a student over from Canada.

Deborah has travelled all the way from Canada to train here at Able Skills. She currently works in healthcare in Canada and is training with us to get the skills to build her own home. She is currently on the second week of her six-week bricklaying course.

Canada

Deborah has travelled all the way from Canada to train here in Dartford.

You are probably wondering, why has she come to England to train?

Deborah’s reason for training in England and not Canada was the availability and quality of training on offer. After searching online, she found us on google and decided to travel over and see our centre. She did exactly that in April this year and booked her courses, Deborah is completing bricklaying, carpentry, joinery, tiling and plastering with us.

Dartford is a long way from Canada, however, Deborah has settled in very well and will be with us for the rest of the year. She has praised the support of all the instructors so far and has found the course good and has learnt so much already.

Deborah has big ambitions and she believes the training she will receive at Able Skills will help her reach her goals. With the teaching she has had so far, she is extremely happy with what she has learnt and is looking forward to the rest of her training with us.

Throughout her training Deborah is staying at our accommodation and she has stated that it is very comfortable and has everything that she needs. The surrounding areas has always been very good with hardware stores around for her to get work clothes etc.

We would like to wish Deborah the best of luck for all her courses and hope she achieves her goals.
