People who have completed tiling courses may be in greater demand if the public takes note of the views of one DIY commentator.

Writing for the Times-Standard, John Driscol explained that he takes great pleasure in carrying out DIY projects around his home, but tiling has become an exception to this philosophy.

He described the process as being "gruelling" and recommended that people call in an expert who has completed tiling courses.

"If you have the money to spend - that is, if you've made the money doing some other kind of reasonable work - fine. Pay a pro," the journalist remarked.

Mr Driscol noted that the process looked easy before he started, but it soon turned into "endurance tiling".

His comments may inspire more people to hire professionals who have taken tiling courses.

In contrast, Linda Cottin claimed on LJWorld.com that tiling is a fairly simple process, but stated that it is important not to be "geometrically challenged".
