Plumbing QualificationWhen training to become a Plumber, you need to make sure you are training at the right centre and achieving the right plumbing qualification. Just like we have seen with the gas training industry, people are looking to fast track their training and therefore not complete the right training.

Going into a trade is a fantastic and secure career prospect, however, making sure you get the right training and qualifications is vitally important because you will be working in people’s homes and you need to know what you are doing.

In the Heating & Plumbing Monthly magazine for March, it is telling future plumbers to be careful of who they are training with. This is due to some training centres not offering the right qualifications and fast-tracked training.

Here at Able Skills, we offer industry and worldwide recognised City & Guilds Plumbing qualifications. Our team of plumbing instructors work extremely hard to make sure our courses are run to the highest possible standard to give every student the best possible start in their new careers. We provide out students with a fantastic training course to get them well on their way into the industry.

The reason for getting trained to a high level is to give you the chance to offer high quality and safe work to every customer.

To become a City & Guilds qualified Plumber you will need to complete the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course. A six-week course run here at Able Skills and has proven to be very popular and lots of our students have gone onto being very successful Plumbers. We also offer this course over weekends and our very popular Home Study Plumbing option.

Many of our Plumbing students will eventually go onto our gas training courses here at Able Skills. It is a very popular route here where our students will complete the level 2 course and then move onto the Qualified Plumber Gas route we have available.
