Students of electrical courses could benefit from the news that plans for a new office scheme have been put forward.

Development Securities has announced it has applied for planning permission to carry out work on the Hammersmith Grove project.

The west London programme will comprise of 275,000 sq ft of office accommodation and is to be constructed speculatively.

There are also further plans for two new buildings situated at Paddington Corner and Five Kingdom Street, which could both present further opportunities for people on electrical courses in the future.

Development Securities noted that there are better opportunities for growth in the London region.

"Outside the south-east, speculative development of commercial offices will be a rare phenomenon in current markets," it stated.

The company is currently working on the Paddington Central scheme, which will see a new central London business hub being created that is situated one mile from Mayfair.
