Electrical Training for Companies
At Able Skills we have the most amazing facilities as well as trained and highly qualified staff.
Having provided electrical training since 2002, we find ourselves in the position of being able to offer almost every electrical qualification as well as being able to provide bespoke training to meet the needs of a variety of companies and businesses.
We are open 7 days every week enabling us to deliver electrical training through the week as well as part time training at weekends and dependant upon the requirements of a company, we can also offer training at alternative locations – like your place of work.
What You’ll Learn
Able Skills Business Training
We currently offer the following programmes of learning and assessment:
Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: 2018
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (update training and exam)
We also offer a 1 day version of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations for those who hold the 17th Edition (Amendment 3 – 2382-15)
Level 3 Certificate for the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - Both the Inspection and Testing and Management qualification is available
Level 2 Certificate in the Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
We are also an NVQ Assessment Centre and NET Centre for the purposes of AM2
We can assess both the C&G 2357 route as well as the 2356-99 (Mature Candidate Assessment)
- 2356-99: Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker
- 2357-44: Level 3 NVQ Diplomas Electrotechnical Technology
How You’ll Learn
Most of the electrical programmes of learning that we offer will predominantly be delivered at our training facilities in Dartford due to the practical assessment requirements of some electrical qualifications however, on occasion and dependant upon the learning requirements of your business, we can come to your business premises. We can discuss your requirements and will do the best we can to support your needs.

Able Skills is an IET Centre of Excellence which means that you can rest assured that we deliver the highest quality electrical training programmes.
Our flexibility for attendance is one of our biggest selling points, as well as the fact that we are open at weekends and Bank Holidays and on some courses, offer a Home Study option. In addition, we have our own accommodation, reasonably priced at £20 per night – a huge saving against hotel prices.
