Electrician CoursesElectrician Courses are still as popular as ever and they are our student’s favourite route into the industry as they start a new career. Whether it is a full electrical course or just the domestic training we have all the options available here at Able Skills.

We understand that in the real world it isn’t always possible to re-train and commit so long courses all in one go. For example, to complete the City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Courses you will be in centre for 15 straight weeks. This isn’t always an option for our students as they have current working commits that fit around their training. Due to this we have now been offering home study courses for our level 2 and 3 electrical courses and the popularity has gone through the roof. Especially over the last few years we have seen a huge increase in people booking this course as well as a high pass rate among our students.

You are probably wondering how does the home study work. Well, it does what it says on the tin. When you book the home study course we send out the study pack that has all the course material that you must complete and go through at home in your own time. This offers great flexibility as you can complete all the theory at home in your own time and fit it around your busy working life.

When you feel ready to come and complete some practical training you can contact us and we will book you in for your first week of practical training. Overall to complete the level 2 course you need to complete four weeks of practical training here at our centre. These four weeks can be split up into one-week blocks to fit around your diary. In those practical weeks your tutor will also schedule in your online exams.

However, if you feel that the home study route might not fit your learning needs then we also offer the Level 2 and 3 in alternative routes. Obviously, we offer the full-time course and also the very popular weekend course. The weekend electrical courses are extremely popular due to the flexibility they offer. We run our courses on two weekends on, two weekends off basis. This allows students that can’t commit to a long course to train at weekends over a longer period.
