Electrician courses and the training options available!

In need of new opportunities? It's clear that coronavirus has had a negative effect on many people's lives and their employment status. If you are thinking about embarking on a new career then Electrician courses here at Able Skills can be the launchpad into a new successful venture. Whether you want to eventually work in a domestic setting or commercial or on a construction site or the many other routes you can take in this trade, you will first need a foundation of knowledge to build on.

Our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical course is the starting point - This 7-week course is designed to provide and help develop regulation knowledge, practical skills and science required for electrical installation work through a real mix of both practical workshop tasks as well as classroom based theory. Currently we have spaces on this course starting on the 21st of June and we will be releasing weekend dates for February very soon!

Electrician courses and the training options available!

What other option are available?

Well, unfortunately our  City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical course is now fully booked until June next year.  This is due to pushing back courses during the initial lockdown and generally we are seeing a huge increase in people seeking new careers through training courses. People know that having a trade skill is something you can always fall back on and electrics, for example, is an industry that isn't going anywhere, in fact, there is a huge demand for skilled electricians in the industry. An established self-employed electrician is likely to earn around £35-40k per year. If you are desperate to get started working towards making this a reality for yourself then we do have an alternative training option...

Exclusive to Able Skills, we do offer an alternative training method for our City & Guilds Level 2 qualification that you can get started with right now! Our Home Study Electrics Level 2 course is a great way to work towards this industry-recognised qualification. The course will start at home as you replace the instructor for our 'Home-Study Pack' especially designed to help you understand electrical theory and even includes test questions so that you can challenge yourself as you study. Once, you have taken some time to familiarise yourself with the provided information you will book 20-days worth of hands-on practical training and assessments here at our centre. You can get started on this training option today, just contact us and we will send out your Home-Study Pack!
