Britons who are thinking of taking an electrical or plumbing training course could find that they benefit from a new online resource launched by the government yesterday (February 16th).

It was recently announced that vocational qualifications are being modified by the state to make them easier to understand and access.

And according to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, its Business Link website now - which offers free support and advice to British firms - provides a large amount of detail on these changes, which could assist both learners and employers.

Commenting on the news, skills and further education minister Kevin Brennan said: "For anyone who wants to get the skills they need into their business or take up training opportunities themselves, the websites … give them a great opportunity to find out more."

He added that the reforms being made to vocational qualifications will be extremely beneficial to both businesses and students.
