Gas training courses going on this week!

Gas training courses going on this week!
This week is no different from any other, we are here in Dartford, Kent providing high-quality Gas training courses. We have been working very hard these last couple of months to really make the changes needed to the way we do business. We are considering as many measures as possible to ensure we present a training centre that is safe, reliable and welcomes all. Currently, we have a group of students who have now completed their initial 2-weeks of training, working on some pipe skills, completing tasks with 15mm and 22mm copper pipe. They will now be moving onto their theory and practical gas training in the coming weeks gaining an overall grasp of the trade and the industry as a whole. Interested in turning the year around and kick-starting a new career as a Gas Engineer?

Bpec approved Gas courses here at Able Skills.
Our New Entrant Gas Training Package 2 is a great way to go about an understanding of the trade as a whole and starting a new career. This package of gas training, portfolio placement and ACS assessment. For New Entrants looking to access the gas industry, this is an obvious choice. Starting with 7-weeks of hands-on practical training and classroom-based theory classes. Next, work placement! Following the completion of this 7-week gas training, you will be deemed competent to undertake supervised gas work and so the next step towards Gas Safe registration will be to demonstrate your competence in the work-place and you do this by working alongside a Gas Safe Registered Engineer who acts as your on-site verifier, helping you to build a portfolio of evidence and prove your competence and safety working with Gas. Finally, you will complete an ACS assessment and be ready for Gas Safe Registration.
Once you have completed this intensive course, it will be time to contact the Gas Safe Register, as becoming registered as an engineer is a legal requirement here in the UK. Having a registered list of engineers means that the industry is regulated and can remain as safe as possible for home-owners and the engineers themselves. Gas is a dangerous thing and can be fatal if appliances are services by untrained hands. Go to gassaferegister.co.uk to apply!
