Get working towards a new career with Electrical courses on the weekend!

We are now back to providing training 7-days a week! Of course, the centre will look a little different with social distancing measures in place. We have been working hard over the last month to ensure that we are providing a centre that is useful, safe and reliable for all. As the governments advise changes, we will continue to adhere to the advice and aim to present a space that students can work towards new career opportunities. If you cannot commit to taking on a course Monday - Friday consider the idea of weekend training...

Weekend training options for Electrical courses are no different from regular courses. You will learn the same theory and experience the same practical learning as well as achieving the same qualification. The only change is the days you are training, obviously, this will mean that the learning program as a whole will take a longer time to complete. We offer this option for courses such as our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course. This is a great starting point and an entry point for more advanced courses and other aspects you'll need on the path to professional work such as 18th Edition courses and Inspection & Testing courses!

What will I learn?

This course is a real mix of classroom-based theory learning and hands-on practical experience. We will provide you with the relevant textbook and handouts to support the course as well as a free CK Tool-kit to undertake the various practical tasks required. Our instructors are very experienced and will teach you the foundations of the trade, starting with the basics. They understand how to convey the lessons they've learnt in the industry giving you a real example of what life in this kind of role will be. This Level 2 course is designed to...

  1. Provide and help develop your regulation knowledge
  2. Give you practical skills and the science required for electrical installation work
  3. Get you started in the world of electrics
  4. Act as a gateway to more electrical training
