Students who enrolled onto the Level 2 Home Study Electrical Course are in this week as they undergo their practical training under industry expert instructor Brian. The above video was taken live and what you'll see is side by side help as and when the students need it.

The students are working on several things things this week and as captured on camera, they are working on steel conduit containment systems for lighting and power circuits as used in industry. Being massively in depth, the week for the students looks like this:

electrical courses Able Skills Electrical Courses are City & Guilds Accredited

Practical tasks to include:

PE/08: Steel cable tray techniques

PE/09: Steel trunking, basic techniques

PE/12: Preliminary steel conduit

PE/13: Steel conduit power installation

This is their 3rd and penultimate week of practical training as students have the power to pick and choose when to come in next and complete their course. With a home study pack essentially replacing the in-class theoretical aspect of the course with our tutor, theory exams are still held at our centre which will take place when you're here.
