At Able Skills, we host a range of electrical courses including Inspection and Testing courses. Since being back at the centre and helping people to learn and develop new skills in the trade of electrics - We have been collecting feedback from our students. As a provider of training courses, it is important that we receive feedback like this from our students as it helps us to understand which areas we need to improve and what is working well. Electrician courses are our most popular training options and always have been. Want to train with us?
Currently our Level 2 course is full booked. However, if you are an experienced electrician then you can take on our Level 3 award in Inspection and Testing from the 18th of January! This course is aimed at practicing electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training. Inspection and Testing is a good skill to have under your belt, through this course you will gain a more advanced look at this topic covering aspects like; safe isolation, the requirements for testing energised installations, commissioning electrotechnical systems and equipment, a look at the differences between periodic inspections and initial verifications, how to understand and interpret test results and much more. Our instructors are experts in the trade of electrics and have worked out in the industry for many years before teaching with us, they can give you a great insight into this topic and the industry as a whole.

If you live a considerable distance from our training centre then you may be thinking about securing accommodation in the local area. We have our own accommodation available exclusively for our students. It is located just a short walking distance from our centre and can be booked for the reasonable price of just £20 per night! - If you are interested make sure to contact us ahead of your courses' starting date as spaces are limited!
