Carpentry courses at Able Skills.
Our City & Guilds Carpentry Course is a great place to start. This accredited 3-week basic carpentry qualification is an excellent start for anyone looking to start training as a Carpenter. This course will give you a really good understanding of the fundamentals and lays a good foundation of knowledge and ability to build on if you were to continue perusing the trade with a City & Guilds certificate upon completion. Can't commit to a 3-week course? Well this course can also be completed over a series of weekends!
You will be trained and assessed across the following areas:
- Health and Safety in construction
- Fixing architraves and skirtings
- Constructing and fixing hatch linings
- Fitting locks and latches
