LIVE footage of our Electrical Courses in action!  We'll also talk about the different Electrician Courses and other Electrician Training we have going on this week too!

The video above was taken live today from one of our IET Centre's Of Excellence which played host to the Domestic Installer Electrical Course - a course where many people interested in Part P Courses turn to, to begin working legally within a domestic dwelling.

It must be noted however, that in order to work legally, you must sing up to a competent persons scheme such as the NICEIC which gives you permission to start making a living by offering domestic electrical work.

Students who enroll on Electrical Courses like these must ensure they successfully complete the 18th Edition Course which is another legal necessity issued by law. This enables people to carry out electrical installations and lucky for the guys above, they enrolled onto the Advanced Domestic Installer Course which actually includes the 18th Edition as a package. (saving you extra money!)

Able Skills Electrical Courses Are City & Guilds Accredited

In other news, we also have students returning this week to complete another week on their City & Guilds Home Study Electrical Courses. We'll be sure to catch up with the students from last time as they look forward to another week of practical training and finally achieve their Level 2 Diploma!

What Would Be Next?

Gaining their NVQ Level 3! It's very likely that the same students you see in our live videos will return back to Able Skills yet again to arrange for one of our assessors to visit them on site and build up a portfolio of work. This will all be in preparation for their assessment in our dedicated AM2 Centre and gain the privilege of being NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrics.
