New jobs may soon be coming available for people on electrical training courses, as a new development is to be announced at Grantham North, according to Larkfleet Homes.

Company spokesperson Paul Bywater said that the Bourne-based housing developer and building firm welcomes feedback and suggestions from the public on the proposals.

His comments follow the announcement that the construction work will result in 1,300 new homes being created, including economical housing for local residents and retirement and care homes.

"Obviously we want to consider any comments that people may have before finalising the development proposals for submission as a formal planning application," stated the representative.

The plans include the provision of new parks and green spaces, education, retailers, a community centre and healthcare facilities and play areas for children.

In related news, Larkfleet recently collaborated with pupils from a Peterborough primary school to plant a time capsule at one its developments in Eye.
