Plastering Courses: Plasterers are needed in the Construction Industry

Over the last year our plastering courses have become extremely popular and more and more students are choosing plastering as a new career path. With the construction industry in need of more workers, our plastering courses have become very popular.

Plastering courses at Able Skills have been running for nearly 15 years and was one of the first training courses we offered. Since then our plastering courses have grown and we offer a range of different courses to help people get the skills and knowledge they require, whether it is for a new career or personal use.

We run short plastering courses as well as longer qualification courses, so there is a course for everyone depending on what they are looking for. The Introduction to Plastering course is run over a five day week and is extremely popular with the people who are looking for a basic skill set for a personal project. Our longer courses such as, the City & Guilds Plastering course is suited for the people that are looking to advance in a new career as a Plasterer.

The two plastering instructors have been working at Able Skills for many years and they are two of our longest serving instructors. Jo and Spencer work extremely hard to make sure every single one of their students achieve everything they want during their courses. They both have years’ worth of plastering experience from working on-site and now teaching. Both Spencer and Jo are very popular amongst their students.

Plasterers, along with Bricklayers, are the skilled workers who are highest in demand in the current skills shortage. Lots of people have taken the opportunity to enrol on our plastering courses to begin new careers in a very exciting industry. More Plasterers are need to help with the increased work load in the construction industry.
